Tharp Plumbing was nominated recently for the Orlando Business Journal’s 2009 Best Places to Work award. Part of the consideration for this award involved anonymous surveys all employees completed regarding their thoughts and experiences about Tharp Plumbing. The surveys measured team effectiveness, retention risk, alignment with goals, trust with coworkers, individual contribution, manager effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, satisfied with current role, and people practices. Overall, Tharp Plumbing scored extremely high in all categories with most rated higher than a five (six was the highest possible score).
